Technology at it's best

President Obama has brought the White House to our house. Like most of his campaign support was generated via internet his administration can be followed the same way. He will implement an interactive government which will thrive on communication, their transparency, and our participation.

We will be able to communicate with our President in unprecedented way. President Obama has a White House blog, there was the seat at the table through his transition site, and now the transition is complete we can go to WhiteHouse.gov.

President Obama has repeatedly insisted upon transparency. He vows to run an open ended administration with a new tech team and ideas.
More information can be found on the "How Obama Will Use Web Technology" http://www.washingtonpost.com/

Most importantly to this administration is us. If we do not participate we can not complain. There's the weekly address that will now be on youtube and other sites.

  1. It will be very interesting to see the impact of today's technology on President Obama and his office.

I heard on the radio that he will be one of the first presidents that will be allowed to use email service while in office.

I found this to be surprising. Wouldn't you think previous presidents have used email?

I am guessing it has a lot to do with security.
