I could feel this way because it's possible. Do you have the feeling you're being watched? In this day and age cameras are everywhere. In stoplights to prevent red light runners. ATM's have them for simple surveillance. In every store we go in we are monitored if a camera is in the building. We have an energy concern, but billions of hours of footage are shot of us in the US daily.
This is not all bad, it's just a privacy issue with me. Footage being caught all over could help solve a crime or bring a little girl back home. That fender bender could be resolved by one looked at the tape. As with everything it has it's pros and cons.
Who's to say the next computer we by won't already have some sort of hidden surveillance embedded into the hardware. It's hard to tell because who monitoring the monitors. With this in mind the next time you think you're alone maybe you're not.

Before the launch of Firefox 3 there will be some rigorous testing of it's performance.Who could ask for more from a web browser than better controls to monitor what your kids are doing and malware protection. They have lots of new add-ons such as Twitter. If you're in for the ease of access Firefox 3 is for you.
Although the first version as already hit IE 8 is out there and it seems they will still be competing. The first version is just a tast of what will soon come out. Try it as we always do and let me know how you like it.

Cell phones not enough anymore
Google has unleashed another project. This one is called Google Voice. It was originally put together in 2007, but it never went anywhere. To get the service you would need a Grand Central account. Grand Central is a free local telephone service that routes all linked phones to one phone number or your Google site.Google Voice implements a similar service only with more features. It allows you to pick a available number number from the current database. No matter where you are all linked phones will ring at the same time. If you where to answer it the option of accept or deny would be given. You can also record your conversations but a prompt will be heard to alert both parties.
Don't worry you can't send text but you can SMS. Don't worry about your daytime minutes but, you will be charged for international calls. This all seems great but, do you actually want your personal conversations captured via internet. A voice mail you just forgot to erase could come back to haunt you. It may sound like a good idea now but, is it really.

Stimulation anyone.......
A company that started up in 2004 has just received 3.5 million dollars in funding. Syndiant is a Dallas, Texas based company dealing with semiconductors. Semiconductor materials are an essential for our computers, cell phones and even mp3 players. The funding was warded to help with a new line Syndiant is releasing called VueG8. In addition to funding the line it is also to hire more employees. VueG8 will be the smallest projector with quality imaging. This technology will enable us to have big screen quality in a hand held device.
Not only was this funding for just VueG8 it is intended to stimulate the Texans economy. The Texans were fortunate enough to have a ETF (Emerging Technology Fund). From the Office of Gov. Perry "We invest wisely to help Texans and strengthen our economy."

Live with or without
Who would have thought cell phones would be our worst enemy. It is known pinging can pinpoint our general whereabouts due to closest signal. This has been a great tool in our society good or bad. Text messages we send or receive along with sites we may visit are trails of data left behind. In the future this data will be used to learn more about human behavior. It is called reality mining. While all the upgrades are nice it will soon lead to more information to be gathered. Researchers feel that by studying the way we do things will benefit us in the long run.
In some situations this may be true. Companies use reality mining to collect data about their customers. This could help better serve them. We must protect ourselves and become aware of vulnerabilities we face everyday.
