Cell phones not enough anymore

Google has unleashed another project. This one is called Google Voice. It was originally put together in 2007, but it never went anywhere. To get the service you would need a Grand Central account. Grand Central is a free local telephone service that routes all linked phones to one phone number or your Google site.

Google Voice implements a similar service only with more features. It allows you to pick a available number number from the current database. No matter where you are all linked phones will ring at the same time. If you where to answer it the option of accept or deny would be given. You can also record your conversations but a prompt will be heard to alert both parties.

Don't worry you can't send text but you can SMS. Don't worry about your daytime minutes but, you will be charged for international calls. This all seems great but, do you actually want your personal conversations captured via internet. A voice mail you just forgot to erase could come back to haunt you. It may sound like a good idea now but, is it really.

  1. Like you, I understand the benefits of a program like this but I also see many flaws that could develop.
