BLACKOUT!!!!!!!

A new cable wire will be put into Manhattan's financial district. Why is this so important? Only because it will still be able to give out power during those notorious New York blackouts. It will work in a way that linked-up power stations will be able to back the other it a failure was ever to occur.

With over 60,00 amps running through the cable at once it is bound to get hot. This is why scientist will cool it with liquid nitrogen. More power can run through this cable than any copper cable it's size.

The last blackout that occurred cos over 6 billion dollars. With a technology set into place such as this will help save alot of money. Putting a cable in the financial district seems to be a great idea right about now. The last thing the world need is to lose track of our finances.

  1. This is a very interesting idea. I would have thought NYC's financial district would have already implemented something similar to this long before now. Either way, it is well known that this area of country consumes ALOT of electricity.
